We are regulated by the 2014 Nevis International Banking Ordinance (NIBO), the scope of which requires us to submit to quarterly financial statements and annual audited financial statements to the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB). The Nevis Offshore Banking Ordinance also grants the ECCB the authority to require us to submit to an examination of all books, minutes, cash, securities, vouchers and other documents and records relating to our assets, liabilities and business generally.
As recognised and applauded by OECD, The Federation of St. Kitts & Nevis has always been at the forefront of transparency issues, having joined the Global Forum Joint Ad Hoc Group on Accounts (JAHGA) as far back as 2003.
