Earlier this month, BONI proudly sponsored the 2022 Nevis Mango Festival, a three-day event that attracted culinary stars from Nevis and beyond to showcase the 44 varieties of mango found on our island.
Farming communities are at the heart of any economy, and no less so in Nevis where some of the world’s best mangoes are produced. At BONI, we have endeavoured to support Nevisian farmers as part of our long-standing commitment to improving the lives of small island communities.
Not only do farmers help to feed our nation, but they also serve as custodians of our natural environment, working hard to protect and preserve our land for generations to come. We want to encourage a greater appreciation of the work they do and to help them take advantage of new opportunities. This can be seen through our efforts to push for greater financial support for farmers, empowering them to thrive in the global marketplace.
